hello, ive recently got the tall windscreen:

not my vespa, but the same wind screen i have.

but the thing is the dealer put it on for me, and i was wondering how i take it off? im guessing you just twist the little bars going into the handlebars part, but i also hear that some vespas have reverse threading on one side and i dont want to strip anything taking on or off stuff.. any help would be appreciated. thank you!

Your image post did not work. Assuming you have the OEM Vespa screen, or a similar one such as the Faco or Cuppini - they are held in by an expansion bolt on each bracket. You loosen the exposed bolt with an open end or adjustable wrench. The bracket should then come out of the sleeve in the headset. Sometimes it is necessary to tap the end with a wood block to loosen it.

Don't undo it completely!
A few turns and a tap on the lower end of the bracket should be enough.

And both sides are normal threads (no "reverse threads").
