Finally finished blacking out the chrome on my 2015 blue GTS300 Super.

The final touch was the smoked indicators. I swapped some bits over between my white GTS and the blue one to get an all black instrument panel. Painting the heat shield black makes a vast improvement to the standard exhaust.

I have a wasp emblem on the topbox, and am thinking of painting it black too, with yellow stripes on the abdomen. The only chrome left is the ring on the inside of the handgrips, not worth bothering about, and the silver rim on the wheels. I paid a lot to get those wheels painted blue, and don't plan to change them.

Thanks, Jim. It looks much better if I take the topbox off, but the damn thing is so useful. I like to be able to lock my helmet away out of sight when I go shopping.

Blacked Out Blue From Down Under
Mike,

Good Form, you have done an outstanding job on that scoot.
You could check out "Cheeky Seats" online for the Vespa GTS.

Best regards from MInneosta,

Bob Copeland
