DJ'ing, Playing Basketball, and searching for new bands for work. Common theme---seeing things in a creative light. Never a dull moment. But above all if I'm nothing scooting...I'm thinking about scooting..........

I like to spend hours in the kitchen and I am a great fan of slow cooking
When I am not in the kitchen I am reading about ancient cooking and regional cooking traditions.
I am almost always looking for forgotten vegetables and other forgotten ingredients.
Next to that I write recepies. Maybe someday I will publish some.

Kite flying, drinking, cavorting, sleeping... generally in that order

I'm busy perfecting the age old, classic art of trading perfectly good, hard earned cash for superflous (but very, very nice) scooter parts

Going well so far, but don't tell the wife

i am an avid hockey player, also into working out.

Figuring out how to pay for my scooter isn't really a hobby since it seems to be a full time job

Precision airguns such as HW, Air Arms, Diana and BSA which has somehow gotten me into the area of pest culling for farmers in the area. They prefer me to laying out poison and killing animals which aren't problematic, so it serves a purpose. Generally I'm shooting ten meter with an old olympic ten meter Diana 75. Being accurate on paper is a hoot. Surprisingly, I'm not really a firearms type of person.

Almost forgot, I play sax and a thing called an electronic wind instrument.

I hardly have time for "hobbies" any more, nor people to do them with as most of them are not solitary ones...

But the thing I enjoy most with my leisure time would be playing cards, particularly trick-taking games. I've been an avid player of Bridge, Hearts, Spades, Oh Hell!, Barbu, Euchre, Cribbage, Gin, Rummy 500 and Cassino at various points in my life. Oh well.

Sports-wise, I used to play basketball several times a week. Then I blew my shoulder out on my shooting arm. D'oh!

Now I just worship at the widescreen altar of my HDTV displays (a plasma panel TV and a DLP front projector) and dream of glory days gone by.

Oh, and do crosswords, mainly the NY Times crossword.

Going to gun shows looking for old Smith and Wesson revolvers to collect.

Hobbies??? Mostly all I have time for has just been work, which is sad, I need more balance. but when I do have time...

- Wing Tsun Kung Fu (this is a big one)
- photography (mostly with vintage cameras, I'm really not very good, but it's fun)
- burlesque (I do a couple of duo acts with my GF, and am cosidering doing some boylesque)

Those are the big current ones...

Riding my motorbike, playing guitar in a band, drinking beer and cooking (not all at the same time)

making jewlery, golfing, lap swimming, hiking, rafting, kayaking, mountain bike riding.........and sometimes I go to work.

Motorcycles... That's it.

Serving as trainer on my kid's hockey team, and driving the two of them to the various practices, training sessions, and games each week. That pretty much takes care of my free time. Otherwise, I run. It is cold, and slippery, but quite doable in the winter!

i am an artist.
right now mostly doing printmaking and paintings.
i try not to buy things "new" .The only new thing i have bought in the past year was my my LX150, food and paint.

im just trying to save the world. on step at a time.
