I started frying headlamps with frequency so ordered a new reg/rec

On fitting I still have no headlamp although the day light is on..

Figured to replace fuses and relays at the same time as these items are of an unknown age

Any suggestions appreciated

There's a 15A fuse and a relay in the current path for the headlight. The fuse has probably died, though it's also possible the relay (or connection to it) is causing trouble.

So that fuse and relay are located beneath the saddle, helmet store yes?

The fuse is by the battery, together with the main fuse. Both are 15A.

I'm not near an LX at the moment, so can't give you the location of the relay, as it's ages since I rootled about inside an LX!
