Hi, I own a 2017 BV 350 1,500 miles on the odometer. All of a sudden the fuel light blinks and the fuel needle registers as empty even though I know that there is a fuel tank of gas. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem and what the remedy was. Thank you

The float on the fuel gauge has got stuck, OR the connections to it have gone open circuit.

Wiring diagram here:

Fuel Light Blinks - BV 350
Thank you for your response. How do I go about unsticking the float on the fuel gauge and checking to see if the connecors have gone open circuit.

Checking the connectors is the easy one - just check the resistance between pin 12 of the speedo unit and ground. If that's infinite then either a wire has chafed through (follow the harness) or the connection on the fuel level switch is bad. To check the latter you'll need to drop the tank, and if you're doing that you can access the fuel level sender itself to check it.

If that resistance is not infinite (not open circuit) then the fuel level sender and its wires are OK, and the fault must lie within the speedo unit.

Fuel Light Blinks
Hi, When I turn the ignition on the fuel neele moves all the way to the right (Full) but then goes all the way to the left (empty) side. How do I access the 12 pin speedo unit. What do I have to disassemble to get to the speedo unit. Thank you

I don't know, I do not own a BV350, and haven't yet worked on one. The workshop manual may well give you some hints.
