G’day everyone,
Been years since I have posted here!
Here goes...
Maybe about 10 years ago I converted my wife’s 1980 P200E into a GS160 look-a-like. I stopped at the handlebar. Now I am wondering, if anyone knows, would it be possible to adapt an aftermarket GS160 headset to the P2 fork?
Cheers

I guess with a metric shit ton of reverse engineering anything is possible... but the collar of the P lower hides a bunch of space of the fork upper as well as making room for all the wires and whatnot's not found on the GS.
(Would be a pretty big lift and just not worth the effort in my estimation.)
YMMV
etc

Thanks for the reply! I hadn’t even considered that part... But I guess with the indicator wires etc, would make a difference. I was more worried about if the lock bolt would line up, if the fork tube was the same diameter and if I would have a gap or none. May see if I can borrow one for comparison.
Cheers
