Hello everybody,

I have some problems with Piaggio MP3 400 2009 with tilt. Once I put the tilt lock on and then use the throttle to move, the scooter does not release the tilt lock and does not move, the motor hicks up-braked-blocked... until I have to remove the tilt using the button on the scooter, then it moves normally when giving throttle...

Do you know what could be wrong and how much it costs?

Thanks for answers and happy New Year.

I'm guessing your seat sensor isn't working.
If your scooter is running, with tilt lock engaged and no one on board, if you twist the throttle you don't want the tilt lock to disengage (or the rear wheel to get to turning either for that matter).

I know that it is not possible to buy new sensor from piaggio, but only all seat.

I would like to know what does mean if I bypass seat sensor? Do I need to unlock tilt manualy everytime with switch or if I bypass it, only twist trottle and scooter will start moving?

Thanks for answers.

There seems 2 types of throttle issue. One from tilt lock which usually has a alarm buzzer attached

Then the seat issue. Does the light on the dash go red when you get on and off the seat. There a good indication of if seat lock working. With tilt lock ON and I stand off the seat a red light comes on. Do you have this
