Bought this from Mercato. It’s perfectly flat

This is the other Vape fan wheel tool SIP sells

Not sure how the blades match up

Mounting holes dont line up either

Doesn’t line up with the actual flywheel either.

![]() So I just got the vape kit today and I sprung for the optional fan holding tool. I forgot the bracket (whoops!) but I’m trying to figure out how to use this holding tool. Is it late? Am I dense? Did I get the wrong part? Are the Germans drunk? This tool is perfectly flat and doesnt work with the fan blades on either end of the tool, multiple holes dont line up, etc. Can anyone tell me what I’m missing?

![]() Not sure what your trying to use it on, but SIP does list three tools for three different model scooter motors.

![]() If it's perfectly flat, is it designed for the VAPE flywheel without the fan installed?

![]() Trying to use it on a VBB. Regardless of the model, shouldn’t things match in the kit?
I’ve tried it on just the flywheel. Look at the last picture. Only 1 out of 4 holes can work at the center of the tool. [/url] |

I understand lambretta flywheels are smaller but for a Vespa, what factors do you have to deal with that you need to have 3 variations of a tool? |

![]() Maybe after you bend it to that shape you can catch one mounting hole and a fin or two? Hmmm, trippy looking device. Maybe it's made to double as a whisker for a big vat of cream....OK, maybe not.....

![]() Yeah wondering how a bent piece of wire holds a flywheel. Doubles as a marshmallow roaster?
