This has been posted on here more than a few times . Put a Vespa in a very popular movie and I can guarantee you in will wind up on MV before you can say "Deadpool rides a Vespa" .

Yeah it's a fun scene however you have to understand part of the fun (joke) is he's doing it on a scooter. Still, I'm sure they used a Vespa because it is a beautiful ride and matched DP's outfit.

When they do a chase movie on a Ural I'll put it out so I'll be sure they haven't done it before.
In the movie Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade a Dnepr MT 750 was used, very similar to the Ural.

I'm sure they would make the same joke with any scooter including a Vespa. Face it not everyone appreciates the quality and beauty that is a Vespa. Anyway, it's their loss and I could care less. I love my Vespa and for that matter all my bikes.

The Vespa is loved for what it represents as well as for its aesthetics, other scooters are bought for practicality and quality, everything else floats around ...I care when it's there true substance and perceive it. But the perception differs from person to person.

The scooter (any scooter)is perceived very differently in Ohio than it is in Italy.....probably because those who seek them out in Ohio (& in the USA) look nothing like those who are riding them in Italy.

The scooter rode in Deadpool 2 is a Vespa Primavera, with a few mouse strokes this is easily verified but I'm sure many of you can tell that in a heartbeat. All the Logo's were removed from the scooter with exception of the Piaggio badge on the front sheild because Vespa Piaggio did not approve or pay for the use of the scooter in the film. Most likely due to not wanting to be associated with a film having such adult content. Common practice. Good movie, good scoot.

But rather I ask myself ... why a Vespa?
There are many other scooters or motorcycles ...
