Many of you don't know our friend the Floridian, but most of you do. Bob worked at the Kennedy Space Center until he retired a few years ago. He put together a project that sent Snoopy around the world with MV'rs. After his great adventures Snoopy ended up at the Space museum at the cape.
Often he would "go dark" for extended periods of time as he would go into the bunker and had no contact with the outside world.
He has been dark recently because he has sickness in the family as his wife Crystal is fighting a rare form of cancer.
He asked me to share this with you.
It’s been a rough go for Crystal. Almost lost her after her first chemo. She went into respiratory arrest within an hour of the first infusion. Fortunately, the Moffitt team was able to revive her. She spent two weeks in icu. Soon after the the second chemo, blood counts crashed and she was back in the hospital. I just got her home last night and she’s resting. Next chemo is Thursday, the 3rd of 6 that are planned. Problems are because of the unusual strength of the chemo to fight the rare form of blood cancer. If we complete the chemo regimen with a remission, a bone marrow transplant will be done immediately in Tampa.
We wish Crystal and him great success with her treatments and will keep her in our prayers.
Where’s Snoopy - The End.
