I didn't experience any engine problem but it felt strange. I had maybe 80:1 premix in the tank. The scooter produced zero smoke. I started to clean the carb today and noticed that the oil did not flow at all out of the oil line. Does it need to be sucked by the pump, or should it flow freely?

I'm guessing I shortened the life of my piston and cylinder if it should flow freely, but thank God I had some pull in the gas as insurance

Here's a test. Disconnect the oil line at the air box. Lower the line so that gravity takes over. Does oil drip out of the line when it's lowered? (It won't gush, just drip) If that happens then your tank, tap and hose are good. If not, there's a clog somewhere and you need to start investigating upstream.

The oil tank sits below the fuel tank, not sure you'll see anything drip out unless you fill up part of the fill tube running through the gas tank also. I use a clear tube on mine and disconnect it and leave a small air bubble on purpose when reconnecting. Then when I start it look for that bubble to slowly move, it's not a quick flow. It might take 30 seconds or a minute to move.
