Hi all.
Today I made a set of leather grips for my LX.
I'm a novice person about handling leather stuffs.
A professional craftsman(my friend who rides GTS) helped me to cut leather.

At first, got a set of grips. the inner diameter is 24mm for right grip, and 22mm for left. and disassemble these into pieces.

This time, I used the bar ends of both sides and sponges.

Cut the leather to right size and glue it on the sponges by gum. And sew end to end up!!

uninstall the factory grips. I felt messy to pull factory grips, so I cut it

It's done!

I hope someone to try!

These look great and are very cool indeed- I would love some similar grips for the LX to match my tan seat. For some reason, Piaggio has only supplied black and red to the UK. Tan grips do exist, I've seen them!

You have inspired me to get me tools out have a go myself though. Kudos to you!
