It was good to meet you two in my hotel parking lot on Friday. I'm sorry we didn't get to chat much longer than that. I'm glad you don't have any embarrassing photos of me (that you've posted yet).

It was good to meet you too Bryce. I wish we could have talked more also. Michelle and I had a great time. It was our first rally but it won't be the last.

As for embarassing photos of you......I don't have any but .....well .... did I miss out on something? Bahahahah.

Nothing I remember doing. Since you're interested in going to more rallies, mark off May 19-21 in Kansas City. And if you ride up from Tulsa, you would likely get an award for longest distance ridden just like you did at OKC. And Tulsa isn't all that far from KC.

Looks like it was a fun time. Thanks for sharing. Is that Machineguncharley on the silver GTS? Whose red GTS is that next to your 2? Anyone else you can point out from here?

Yep that's Machineguncharley....I met the owner of the red GTS but now am drawing a blank on the name...he was super nice and loves his GTS and yes thats our two scoots next to his. I don't think I can really point anyone else out by name but the picture of the dark Stella with the checks at the bottom was one of the guys I met from Denver and was also super nice.

Doug & Michelle...

It was great seeing you guys this weekend...I'm glad you had a good time. I'm looking forward to the rally in Tulsa...I'll probably take your Route 66 path in reverse...I've done it on a motorcycle, but I'll bet it's great on a scooter.

It was also great to meet Bryce...a GREAT guy! I really liked his Peugot scooter! We're all going to have to hit Denver for Amerivespa this summer.

I thought it was pretty cool to get a few Modern Vespa members together...I'm hoping that a good portion of the group will get together in Denver.

Thanks posting some great pix!

She went away with 3 trophies for it. She got Best in Show, People's Choice, and something else.

This headlight is the best bit of creative engineering I've seen in a while. I hope it won some sort of award.

Rat Bike Runner-up?
Yeah, unfortunately the young innovator couldn't get himself out and about in time for the judging. It might have done some good in the rat bike category. Now I was judging smallframes, but there was no way this one was going to get ahead of the sweet 90 special that won. Anyway, that's not a finished product. Two weeks ago the bike was lying in pieces completely disassembled (motor too), with him swearing it would be running in time for the rally. I said "yeah right", but he sure showed me! He's one of our Sputnik! SC pledges this year--he scored a lot of points with me, I'll tell you. He's a good one.

She should win two awards. She looks like 2 completely different people from the front vs. the back!
