I have been riding my GT all summer with a pair of full finger Kona MTB Gloves. They are just 4 months old and the faux leather started to wear through in the crook of the thumb and finger tips.
This afternoon I took them in to my local bike shop and the manager not only agreed that they hadn't performed - he upgraded the $49-95 replacements to top of the range $69-95 (image below) at no extra charge, and with a smile
Am I going to recommend this retailer to my friends and acquiantances.... of course..with bells on!
Oh yeah.....it was Bike Barn Takapuna, North Shore City NZ
I know, I know...too far to ride or swim from USA but I thought it was worth a mention.

It just struck me funny hearing you say you've been riding all summer long. Most of us have been waiting for the snow to clear, and for it to stop raining!

Those are great gloves. Love the design. I'll go looking for summer gloves very soon because if it's a nice days my big leather gloves are starting to look ridiculous!
