Over the last couple of years, Modern Vespa has become a repository for all manner of useful information about scooters in general and modern Vespas in particular. Unfortunately, the really informative posts are buried under a mountain of... other stuff.

We'd like to make finding the good stuff, the really informative posts, much easier to find. And we'd like your help. If there was a post that at some point helped you solve a problem or that you found especially informative, please let us know about it. Chances are, if you found it informative, someone else probably will as well.

Please post a link to your favorite post here. You can probably skip articles in the Technical Library, but everything else is fair game.

It is our hope that we can cull the best of the best from Modern Vespa in order to give everyone here better information.

Side Note
This would probably be a good time to remind everyone about topic linking, which is much cleaner than pasting a plain link. Instead of this:
http://www.modernvespa.com/forum/topic4075.html
Use this:
[topic4075]
That way, the title will automatically show up with the link, and we'll know right away what you're linking to. Like this:

Maybe not favorite, all time posts, but a very helpful one. Salty Dodd's tutorial on changing the GT200 belt

Did I mention you can nominate your own posts, too? Have no shame. If you're proud of a write-up you did, tell us about it.

A spirited discussion of the need for a relay to power a medium-current horn:
Another new smaller, LOUD, Stebel for scooters...

I think this must be the most replied-to thread on MV. Posted over a year ago and still pops up on the front page on a near-weekly basis:

I really liked Adjusting steering head bearings on a 250 GTS
because the pictures of how to get inside the knee shield are so helpful!

ok, I won't say this is a favorite and it may seem like I'm trying to be funny.

But trust me I'm not.

Frankly this is one of the things I love about this place, the wealth of info one can find.

Easy choice ... probably not what you're looking for, though.

This was the first project I attempted on my GTS. Moped's detailed instructions and photos gave my the confidence to proceed - and succeed!

A fine choice! You're right, though -- not quite what we were looking for. Unless somebody else wants to replicate the Scorched bike, that is.

I spent the past half hour looking for it, but to no avail. I must not be too swift when it comes to using the search feature, but....

My favorite post was from the guy who took unbelievable notes on the first Maintenance Workshop. Great info there.
