Just back from a 5 day business trip to Montreal.

I've been before, but never in the warm weather. What an amazing city! If you haven't been, I'd recommend a trip. It's the best taste of Europe one can get without jumping the pond.

I saw lots of scooters but few Vespas. It was also interesting that probably 90% of riders were wearing no protective gear. Here in Toronto, most scoot pilots I see are wearing a jacket at least. Again, the Euro influence.

The first pic is of the only Vespa I saw. Note the street sign to its right.

The second pic is representative of many areas in the downtown business and historic districts. Reserved Motorcycle parking! Why can't other cities be this smart!
