Hi Folks,

I just powdercoated my wheels red. Here's a couple shots of my GT. New Pilot Sports on too. I also powdercoated a Faco fender guard at the same time, an idea I stole from ramrezz425. However, I am thinking of the Piaggio chromed single bar guard if I could find one in stock (Scooterwest was out the last time I checked). What do you think?

I think your scoot looks awesome!!! Love the powder coat, and red and black together is sweet.
As to the front fender guard, the single would look sleeker IMO, but it looks good now. Did you try www.scooterpartsdirect for the one you want? Either way very nice job, Beale.

OK OK!

Based on results so far....I ordered the chrome single bar from scooterpartsdirect. Thanks for the tip, Beale.

Sheesh, then I'll be out of modifications. Though a Scorpion would sure look sweet...

Yes, Matt, we do need to ride. The Santa Rosa group had 2 rides over the Memorial Day weekend. Dozen riders on each. Though now, I have to save the new rubber on these wheels to go to Amerivespa and back!

Nice work-- how did you do the 'gills'?

I pulled the cowl back, removed the gills, and put three coats of Krylon red onto them:
