Went to a local skatepark on go skateboarding day today. Weather report said no rain... it rained. They told me to bring the gts inside. Very cool of them.

My new GTS300 at the Oregon Coast
Ventured out from Portland to Tillamook Oregon (about 80 miles) at sunset on a Friday for a weekend of riding with some friends. Took this photo at Bay City. First time I've attempted the curves through the Cascades on highway 6 on a scooter; my previous ride, a Fly 150, couldn't keep up the pace with traffic on the uphills. Fun ride - definitely leveled up my riding skills.

Here's my 07 GTS.
Photo taken on a return trip to Chandler AZ from Jerome AZ.
We had left Prescott in the rain and stopped at an overlook to remove our rain gear.

No action photos yet, just picked it up Friday and it's not yet titled or registered in my name. Drove 134 miles each way to get it. All the way there in a driving, low visibility rain, and when I started back home, the rain stopped and the skies cleared. Good omen, I believe!

Our First Vespa
Did some horse trading of sorts with some great folk at Vespa Dallas and walked away with our very first Vespa scoot. We dropped two Buddy scooters and an undisclosed amount of cash to walk away with a like new 2007 Vespa GTS 250 with only 1,482 miles on it. It came with a few upgrades to make it a real sweet machine.

Not to kick our Buddy scoots to the side but now 'date night' can take on a whole new meaning. We rode two up and easily hit 70 (shown) before dialing it back just enjoying the power.

We went our early this morning on the way to work, stopping by this small vila just outside of town (I mean in McKinney) to snap this picture.

How awesome is that feeling... Taking your new ride for those first few kms. I can't believe the dealer hasn't even taken it for a ride to check the running gear. Rare and awesome!

Looking forward to your ride report!

Don't the dealers have the ability to zero the mileage (kilometres) after they PDC it?

Short answer is NO they don't. They also are required in the US to give you an odometer statement form that states the actual mileage on the vehicle, whether it be a used bike with 10,000 or a new one with 3 miles.

_Some_ high end auto makers can send the dealer (if the dealer has the equipment) a one-time software code to set mileage on an odometer, but there's a ton of paperwork that has to be completed to document what and why it was done to a certain vehicle. Like if the dashboard display shits the bed and has to be replaced. They would only put the actual miles the vehicle had when the display went bad on the new one, not reset an old one to zero.

Thanks - totally logical for anything that is beyond dealer delivery and probably leaves everyone well protected against litigation.

I just exchanged my white Primavera 150 for this new 2017 GTS 300ie in Blu Giola (I think that's the color). I now have 15 miles on it and loving it in spite of the break-in speeds and riding demeanor

Nope. Blue Gaiola is a much brighter blue with a metallic fleck (like mine). But that is a beautiful scooter and I wish it had been available when I bought mine.

Enjoy riding and owning that work of art.

Welcome to MV! Very nice GTS, the color code is under the pet carrier towards the back of the bike on the metal portion of the body

The orginal owner gave me a 1/4 helmet that does match. Funny enough, it's too big for me! I have a small head and no hair. Her medium sized helmet rattles around too much.

On way to Brighton Mod Weekender August Public Holiday 2017
Red Devil ready for the Brighton Mod Weekender rideout....all 5 miles of it!

GTV seat and sport rear rack. The Montana bar end mirrors are from SIP Germany and are very good (£40/$55 each), however, the mounting end caps that are an additional £7/$10 each are not so good as they have no outer lip to prevent mirror falling off if the clamp comes loose. Had the old bar ends machined, much better and will save these pricey mirrors dropping off and getting crushed by the inevitable truck behind me!

Ride safe.

Thanks! Unfortunately, at 45 miles, she blew a head gasket. I brought it to the dealer's as it had hard starting and when I got there, a lot of steam (white smoke) was coming out of the exhaust. So, it's still there for a week now waiting for a part from Vespa! They gave me back my Primavera as a loaner so I still have a ride...
