That's a beautiful color! It's easy to pass the test on a scoot. Stay safe

Thanks, Crusader! My wife and I just finished our Motorcycle Training Course and learned a lot about safety. Looking forward to some epic rides!

Awesome shot!
Did you have to cross any of the big bridges in the bay?

BTW, what color is your Vespa? I can't quite tell with the over cast lighting.

In the 4 months I've been riding, I've been over the Golden Gate many times, the Bay Bridge about 5, and the San Rafael Bridge once. To get to Jenner (or anywhere up the coast) from here I cross the Golden Gate.

The color is Verde Bosco:

So do I! So comfortable, I can handle 90 minute rides without breaks even on the most horrible pothole riddled streets. So worth the $$$

I have experimented with variations of the horn cover on my Supertech. Last pic is the current version that I will stick with for now.

I love the pictures you post VNS. I have concluded that the GTS is definitely more photogenic without 'lollipop ears' and resting at a jaunty angle on their side stands. Of course being a good photographer also helps. Please keep posting!

Thanks a lot for your kind words, Touring300! I just can't stand the original mirrors, looks like crap.

Tidying up the scoot ...'09 GTS300 S. Totally black exhaust and red front and rear brake calipers. Used hammered black Rustoleum paint on bottom of scoot, bottom sides and behind front wheel to protect/hide stone damage.

I also painted my exhaust heat shield black. Unfortunately the black engine enamel I used was gloss, so it doesn't tone in with the exhaust. I need to either look for matt engine enamel or else paint the whole exhaust black (but will engine enamel stand the heat of an exhaust?).

Yours looks very nice. Is your heat shield satin black or matt?

It is something between matt and satin, tho more satin. I used this and baked it at 200C/400F in the oven. Hopefully it will last as it's rated to 2000F/1093C.
