In response to questions on a previous thread - GT200 High Beam Flash, I have posted a pick of the mod carried out on my GT200(2003). The mod was done by previous owner Ian (MV member) who recently sold me the GT (in mint condition!). He is currently awaiting delivery of his GT250. By the way we both now have the personised plares GT200 and GT250 respectively!
Ian did a great job on the modification and I think it is a real winner at improving side/rear visibilty. They are red led's, non flashing and in their own waterproof housings. Ian may be able to comment on the install if he picks up on this thread - I think he is away in Oz on business and biding his time until his 250 arrives. Hope the photo links o.k.... this is a first for me...
Cheers

Boultry, they look wicked! Great place to locate them. I do a fair bit of night riding and it would be good to have those.
Does the shape of the grill mean you can only see them from the angle where you've taken the pic?

night lights
They give a substantial glow at right angles even though the vents are sloping backwards. Most light output is from the 3/4 rear view.
