MP3 500
Great presentation. Does it however apply to the MP3 500 also?

After I've consumed about 1.9 US gal. from a completely full tank my warning icon comes on saying I am on reserve. Happens with every tankful.

Any suggestions

PS Sorry if this is not the place to ask this.

No, and no.

Fuel light will come on with plenty to get to to most world-wide fuel stations. Between 20-80 miles depending on model and style of riding.

And why the necro-post?

Not apropos, I guess
Still scratching around to get a handle on my particular problem.

Apologies again if this wasn't appropriate here.

General questions like this are probably best asked in the General Discussions Forums, that way more people will read it and hopefully you'll get the help that you need there.

Edited to include VERY important information about the types of hoses. The clear/translucent type hose will eventually crack and fail, clamps or not. It is crucial that if you have this type of hose, that you replace the hose itself with a high pressure, fuel-injection type hose. Then install clamps and all is good

This repair is only necessary for certain BV500's, X9 500's, and Scarabeo 500ie's (current generation)
