Hi All,
Haven't played a round of tag for months now and it's great to see some new players getting into the game and with something else besides a GTS250.
How does the 300 compare Pete?

Latest tag was easy to figure out... but impossible to find.
The renovations and construction of the Casino and Theatre meant the letters were gone. I thought I was going crazy as I did laps around the block trying to find something I knew was there.

Lack of Lyric Theatre (Medium).jpg
Note the holes in the footpath where the giant letters once were.

What a difference a week makes,

I must say I was very impressed with the 300. Quality machine with stronger suspension, miles of torque up to about 110k/h but felt a little bit sludgy getting up to 120. It had only just been run in and needs a fly screen when your going fast but it wasn't a strong as the 250 at top speed. Could be something to do with the fact that the 300 revs out at 8000 rpm and the 250 at 9000rpm. The 300 certainly handles the twisties at speed, is great away from the lights and accelerates up hills.

Petrol consumption was high, about 24k/l, the 250 gets 30k/l, but that could have something to do with the way I was riding. The 300 just wants to be raced. Very nice scooter!

1 week time for a clue. The city skyline is a mirror image of the Watsons Bay tag.

I arrived at about 2:40pm and I don't think Pete had been there for long.

This was the 2nd time we've met up in the scooter-tag arena now.

I could mention the reflection in the mirror........but the clue I'll use is ......."is it at a bay or a hill?, the first part is the same"..can't see any water from here but I hear trains...the clue will make sense when its worked out

RoseBay? Rosehill? Roselands? Rosebery? Roseville? Rozelle? Sorry Linz too obscure for me. PS I dont see anything I recognise in the mirror bar a brick wall. Not worth wasting petrol on at this stage. Ill leave it to the real sluths.

Under some railway bridge in SUMMERHILL. Thanks for your clues but a bit of a hairy place to stop!

This is a regular haunt of mine. Such a great space with so many awesome buildings.
The security guard was a little concerned with what I was up to, but once I explained the game he was cool and just asked me all about Vespas for a bit.

Will have the next tag up by the end of the day.
