Hello from SoCal. Does anyone know if the GT has a turn signal flasher relay? Thanks. Bear.

I'm pretty sure it does not. It appears to be a solid-state timed device. That's not to say you couldn't wire in a standard automotive relay (the regular kind, not the bimetal blinker kind) in order to get an audible click, though.

Thanks for the help, I have the service manual, but I didnt see anything like a relay. I am installing some custom lights and was hoping not to have to buy some fancy electonics. Bear.

I've put additional load on my turn signals via a pair of LED arrays (which draw more current than you would think), and they still work exactly as they did before. You won't need any additional electronics for that.

threadjack: Jess, what kind of power draw do you have with the LED arrays? I thought that LEDs didn't draw too much.

They don't, individually, but the arrays I'm using are made up of densely-spaced surface-mount parts, 100 LEDs per foot. The specific item I'm using is here, and the entire 1-foot piece measures out to something like 1.8 amps, IIRC. It also generates more heat than I would have expected.

I'm actually not using the entire 100-LED strip in one spot (you can break the array into smaller pieces) but the chunks I'm using are still around 25 LEDs per strip, one strip for each turn signal, and that's on top of the existing turn signal bulbs.

Got it. Very nice set up.
