Does anyone know "definitively" if GT-200 and or GTS-250 Front Shocks are available in the US at this time?

I am looking to locate one or the other for my scooter.

The need is NOW as I will be leaving for "summer fun" on 08/01/06.

I do not need nor want a non-Vespa Front Shock.

Thanks for your feedback related to this specific topic.

Best regards,

Mike Lynch

Hey, Mike, sorry I can't help with shock availability. The GTS one is definitely better than the GT one. A mechanic at Vespa Washington told me they are replacing the GT one with the GTS one. Right now the Vespa dealer in Denver is putting a Bitubo shock on my GTS. I have no beef with the stock shock, I just like the red color I'll post when I have tried it out.

By the way, Mike, I rode through Homosassa Springs on my way to Denver, and I saw a red ET4 plus someone else coming the other way a week ago Saturday. Do you know who that was?

Well this goes back to my question, do we know if the shock from a GT250 fits on a GT200?

We've all been a bit startled by the thin-ness of the bitubo shock...

By the sounds of the earlier comments, I'd say the answer is yes.
