mmmmmmmmmmmmm.......I have seen this before, but this time I feel moved to comment.

I quite like the seat, and the overall style, but the GT-60 headlight would have to go !! Wouldn't be acceptable in NZ anyway - too low.

Like the "naked" handlebars on the LX-60 though - I'd be keen to see that made available as a retrofit kit for my ET4-150.

I've been thinking that I would refrain from buying any more scooters, but if they released a 60th year special edition, I might have to reconsider....and the P series would have to go!

Lost in the Fifties
Well MrD as I may well be Lost in Space (internally) and having a strange prediliction for all things fifties(especially scooter design of that era) I beg to differ.
A GTS in that style would REALLY ROCK . Its pathetic they are only doing it in 60cc.
It would be an ultimate collectors item too.
We of course would not even get a look in Downunder.
Would a GT/GTS engine slot in WOW think about that after a few ales , the gang would go ballistic.

The GT-60 is a mod of the GTS250 and the LX-60 is a mod of the LX150 ... the 60 has to do with 60 years of Vespa.

I need to get to the dealer and order my GTS!!

There you go
Ok TM , what a Q-ship that would be then, leave the 60 cc logo on and have a 250GTS under the hood.

I think if you re-read that, the 60 refers only to the 60th anniversary. That (sorry my opinion) monstrosity with a light on the fender is GT200 underneath and the other one is an LX150 with nakes handlebars.

Keep sniffin'the Motul!

I love the color of the LX 60. It reminds me of the alabaster color the ETs came in a couple of years back. When I was in the process of getting my LX, the vespa shop let me know that some of the ETs were available, but that the alabaster color had been discontinued.
When I had originally looked at getting a vespa a couple of years back I loved the alabaster and that spiffy green color (very retro)
Is the alabaster/cream color of the LX 60 a limited thing (like the green PX150s last year)?
