19 intrepid MVers arrived on the Island of Paros, Greece Tues, 19 May.

Looks like a fantastic start to the rally!

Okay, I know where I want to be next year at this time.

That looks like a great start to the rally. I can't wait to see and hear more about it.

Whimper, whimper.... I had once dreamed that I could be a part of it... and then my family needed food and clothes and blew that frickin' dream away...

And the hotel restaurant didn't even have a table big enough for all of us to sit together! Bobo was limited to 5 women at his table!







And the roads are not only curvy, but no traffic congestion. Who'd wanna ride in these conditions? You can't even find an opportunity to lane split!



But, we are taking it like the tough MVers that we are and will try to keep our whining down to a minimum.

It's not like it looks very nice either. I bet that everyone is really unpleasant and the rooms are horrid and unwelcoming.
And it's not like any of you are that good looking either.
I bet you all go cock fighting at the weekend and beat your kids for the smallest thing..........

Bobo looks like Mr Happy who just got a dose of happy on National Happy Day at half past happy o'clock in the year of the Happy after eating a plate of Happy and Chips.

Who wouldn't with all those "hotties" on the table.

In picture two there are two couples.

Couple 1 on the left - He looks really happy because his other half has her hand on his thigh and couple 2 - She looks really happy because her other half has finally found his wallet.
The Spanish looking lady is looking at couple one and thinking - She's got her hand on his thigh !

The lady in yellow in picture 3 seems to have a look that says I know alot more than you do about everything in the entire world.

And the guy in picture three in the middle has the most amazing eyes.

yeah, the hotel is a dump and all of our travelling companions are dull and obstreperous (thank you deborah for that word!). the scooters are old and knackered and paros is just like london so i havent really noticed i'm away nine more days of this hell.

*sigh*

Nope. Not jealous at all. (shakes piggy bank, resolving to save mucho dinero and not to get left out next time)

So whos there from MV, I spotted Karen & Hubby, Bobo & maybe wife, thats all I an recongnize. Genies suppose to be there.

Everybody ride safe, Karens prob bummed no traffic to split.

Ardy & I had to sign a non-disclosure agreement. It says "What happens on Paros stays on Paros." We go to Naxos on Monday, so maybe that's not covered

Oh Yeah, tomorrow we go to Delos and Mykonos, so maybe that's fair game as well.

Belinda and I spent part of our honeymoon on Paros.

Anyway, hi from the VCOM folks!

Day two status report:

First thing in the morning we went to the port city of Paroikia. Some official of the Donkei Skök SC was waiting for the UK members.



After their Business Meeting, we got back on the road



Of course, a taverna beckoned us



Deciding between Greek beer and local red vino was difficult



But we toughed it out and got back on the road



Kept searching for nice scenery, but it was all the same



Bobo does seem to attract attention as he rides by.



And we did do some "styling"



But then we had to stop again for ice cream




Note that pre-rally injuries did not hold anyone back!

BUT - MOST SIGNIFICANTLY - what it took Peter Moore months to accomplish Team MV accomplished in two days!!!



We are really not having fun, but we are doing our best to represent MV in a dignified fashion.
