The revs stay quite low (3500rpm -3700rpm) between 0-20 exactly the same as with OEM variator.

20-80 MPH is considerably better no doubt, but again it never hits 7500rpm but around 6000rpm. The pull is very good once you get going but to be honest overall I am a bit disappointed. I was really hoping that it would improve those lazy take-offs.
I am awaiting a delivery of new Gillera Stalker 50cc for my girlfriend. She will definitely beat me on that if we do 50 meters drag race

The difference for the 500 is much smoother take off. It feels marginally faster, but it takes a second until it reaches max torque. It revs high and hits peak rev very quickly. I have to have more care with the throttle to keep MPGs in check.
