Is there any options to make the seat on an LX150 more comfortable?
I find that I keep sliding up to the front of the seat when I'm riding the LX150,
Is there a no step flat seat out there that will fit on the LX150?

Thanks for any advice

Perhaps someone will make a seat like that for the new LX60/LXV that is coming out, that would be way cool Dave. Maybe you would be able to buy one in the near future from Motoretta.

An interesting side note - I have found that over the past 1100+ miles on the BV, the seat has actually become far more comfortable. It's as if it were conforming to my backside almost like good shoes do (like DMs or such). I have a feeling that the foam is 'breaking in' and becoming more pliable. I most definitely have a bony arse, so it definitely is not me

I posted the same question a while back (see here). Beale had some good suggestions (scroll down).

Thanks for the suggestion, Beale's links aren't too bad,
Including his suggestion for the Carolina Butt Buffer:
http://www.carolinabuttbuffer.com/

I emailed Corbin and their reply was:

Hopefully we will have a seat available by the end of the year.Stay Tuned!
Maybe I'll wait to see what Corbin can stir up, But those butt buffers
might work in the meantime while I'm waiting for Corbin to get off their butt.

That's what they told me about this time last year...

It's possible to lower the seat by cutting it down. You can probably reshape it or have it done by an upholsterer. They could conceivably change out the padding, too. Probably cheaper than buying another seat.

My ass slid around on my LX seat until I put a cover on it (from scooterseatcovers.com). My legs actually got sore from trying to hold my butt in place!

Funny thing about those people, I wrote them an email about shipping to
Canada and they never wrote back...Pity.

Recently? "Those people" is only one person (Crystal) and she's on vacation for two weeks. She was really backed up before she left, so maybe didn't have a chance to answer your query?

Give her another chance. She has a great niche product, and a loyal following (we have three covers, and she's making my backrest cover now.)
