I was wondering if anyone had found a good source for circlip pliers. Consistent with the general advice that has appeared in this forum, the set that I bought at Harbor Freight is -- well not so good. They flex more than the circlips.
My next stop was Sears. They don't seem to have their own craftsman brand circlip pliers, and the ones they sell don't look so great, with interchangeable tips and other features that look wonderful except when you need to use them.
I was thinking about trying to find a Snap-on dealer, since folks here have said that those tools are a cut above both Harbor Freight and Sears. They list a couple of fixed tip pliers in their online catalog which are not cheap but reasonable if the quality is good (~$25-35). However, before I try to track down a dealer and buy some, I wondered if anyone here had any advice, or a set of circlip pliers they really liked.
Many thanks for any suggestions.
