You can't beat Christmas shopping by Vespa, if you can fit your purchases in the various storage compartments. Getting in and out of traffic, finding parking spots, it's a snap! Made my Christmas shopping much more fun this year, and I was amazed at how many people wanted to stop and look at the bike (they were probably thinking about how easy it would have been to find a parking spot if they had one)

I've done some Christmas shopping on the Vespa and it's fun. I really do like the idea that I can park just about anywhere. I went to one place that was really crowded and no spaces and I just drove up on the sidewalk and parked the scooter next to the building. Occassionally someone will want to give me shit and I reply in my humble voice "I didn't think it was right to take up a whole space with my little scooter..."

xmas shopping on scoot
I went to Wally World for a few things and started putting things in my cart. Before you knew it I had 4 bags and 4 rolls of wrapping paper. Paid and walked outside and realized I had my bike (how could I forget but I did) I stuffed a couple bags under seat and two on the clip and I crammed the wrapping paper on the back. I was worried but got home ok.

I've carried all sorts of strange things on my scooter. Including rolls of craft paper. Roses though, are a particularly strange thing to transport.
