This is the other scooter my friend who's relocating to France has up for sale. He has a very short window back at home before he moves so I offered to post for him.

I've seen this scooter and it's a beauty. My friend has restored quite a few Lambrettas and he's meticulous.

I've forward any email along to him. Thanks!

------------------------------------------------------------------------

1966 genuine Innocenti Lambretta SX200, recent total restoration, stainless steel hardware throughout, Chrome Sebring rack, Legshield spare wheel carrier, 12 volt conversion (non battery) electronic ignition, 3 new tires. Winner 'Best Scooter' 2009 Mid Atlantic Italian Motofest.

Clear Virginia Title. Innocenti certificate of manufacture.

$6,500.00 or near offer

I am moving to France so these bikes must be sold by September 15th or they will get packed in the shipping container and move with me! I can't arrange crating or shipping but could deliver to a Forward Air depot in the DC area.

SX200
Hi,
I live in England & would be interested in buying the SX200, if it was taken to France. If it remains unsold in the USA, you can contact me via e-mail to discuss. I have just returned from the Isle of Wight Scooter Rally, which i attend each year & would like to find myself a nice SX200 for the right price.
I await your response.

Thanks.

p.s. I presume it is an Italian Sx & is genuine.!!

This is the builder of the Lambretta. He is about as "real deal" scooterist as there ever was:

Wow, Great scoot and a great job on it!

If it goes to France with you make sure you have a vault to keep it in at all times, nice things like that have a tendency to vanish quickly on French soil.

Bon voyage!

That is a gorgeous ride. If I had the money, I'd buy it right now!

Actually it was not sold until today, and until cash changed hands it was an open issue. (But then you knew that.)

And so today I've updated the post to say it's well and truly sold.
