Title edit: Pics & links, please.
Here are lipsmacking rows and stacks of mostly smallframes in Germany. If you don't know of ROLLERFABRIK, it's worth a look.
Got anything to add?

A few of the "ORIGINALE" examples: 1957 FARO BASSO HANDLEBAR 125 CC 1965 VESPA VBB2 150 CC 1949 LAMBRETTA MODEL "B" ( I have one of similar in better condition...) |

And they don't have to be huge collections you've seen personally like Jim (of course that's better - NSM exclusive!), what else have you found on the INTERNET? Maybe some have already seen these, but I know I'd enjoy seeing more... Would it be wrong if Bar Italia, etc put up a few vintage or current shots of their 'hoards'? And where's the guys with a ten or twelve bike habit? Here's your chance. Thanks. Best I can do: 1 stack of Vespas large fraction of all surviving Salisburys |

ok, I'll play.
Here are a few shots of our scoots back when we were insane. I'd call it hoarding.. not as crazy wild as the shots earlier in the thread but plain silly for one family to own so many at once. |

koenig blues wrote: not as much as above but here my horse's stack cheer Here's a little 'collection' of vintage iron. Please forgive me if it's a little out of the norm, but I just came across these (again) & thought some might enjoy. Please feel free to post any bikes from your private stash similar to these, I'd LOVE to see them. Maybe a bit OT, but I promise not to complain. This is my Grampa who rode messenger. He was gassed while on duty, wound up in hospital & met Gramma, a nurse there. He LOVED all machines & was an early photographer(lots of quality pics of all his various ancient cars). If any collectors or restorers of these bikes would be interested in the hi-res original scans just PM me. |

My great grandfather worked for Salsbury and I would love to be able to own a little piece of his memory. I do have a motor so if it is not in running condition that is fine. I can only spend at most $2500 and I know its a longshot but I am hoping someone will be able to help me out since this would mean a lot to my family. Thanks guys!
I spent all of my evenings and weekends last summer building my new scooter shed / shop. It's so nice not to be renting a garage and mini storage. I plan to start building some of the projects this winter. I've been collecting scooters for several years. I like "Odd" scooters as you can see. The dusty GTS has been sitting for 2 or 3 years. I bought it for the motor but can't bring myself to take it apart. Yes; I do have a bunch of other mechanical. It's an addiction most all here can identify with. I searched several years for the salsburys. The parts are very hard to find. But; that's the story with most of my scooters. I've looked as many as 5+ years for some parts. I plan to fix the Yellow-green Salsbury (top left side of the picture) and ride it in the 2012 Scooter Canon Ball. If any of you are ever in Willits and I'm around you're welcome to come by. |
