Locked Key In Under Seat

Is there a procedure for somehow gaining access to the compartments without destroying anything?

To open the seat on a 500 or the 'trunk' on other MP3s (which then gives access to the seat latch) without a key, you need to find the cable running to the lock and give it a downward tug. You can find the cable behind the left-hand rear panel, about halfway along and up near the seat rim - it can be seen from underneath. Grab it and pull firmly down, you will hear the lock click open.

Its that easy

Hope it isnt that easy on the GTS 300. I wouldnt put my wallet/phone in their but have stored shopping items before.

Sounds like the problem started with this. Why don't you contact JimH, or the alternative of your choice, and solve it?

I know this is old but I was able to force pull the seat up enough to slip my hand under the seat and pull out the key.
