Nice work as always, Len. How hard was it to work with the truck bed liner, and where did you get it?

Thanks...the truck bed liner stuff isn't really as thick as true rhino-lining, it's a thinner coat, which actually works better in my opinion. I got it at Napa Auto Parts, and it's easy to use.
I'm hoping to have the prep work done over the next week and a half, so I can spray the frame and the parts a week from Saturday. One can always dream..... |

Very nice rebuild. That looks like it is gonna be a nice bike. I am jealous, I still wanna do a rebuild of a vintage, Beale.

I'm actually going to have a pair of cream colored rally stripes on the legshield. I did a mock up of them in primer, and it looked good...I think the cream will make the paint pop.

Pulled a new wiring harness through, and the engine is totally rebuilt, with a new carb and a Polini 135 top end. I also have a sito + pipe for it. I'll be putting those bits together next weekend, woohoo!

That's really stunning, Len. Your ability to make a rough scooter into a think of beauty (coupled with my inability in the same department) is enough to make me weep.
Beautiful. |

I'm a big fan of the deep orange and cream look you've done. It's beautiful. Now...how well is it running?

Oh Len- I loved the evolution in picture form. You have done excellent work and it has paid off! The final line up photo was the cake. Hope to see it in person some time.
Secret Society has a Poker Run rally May 5th - it'd be a great venue to show us your beauty..... |

I am taking it easy while breaking in the rebuilt motor, but I expect it would do somewhere between 50 and 55 mph.
