Modern Vespa

Hi, just a few pics of the new scoot. Just chromed it up.

i used vespa front side protection and rear side protection.

i used Faco for the front and rear carriers and the front bumper.

I'm not going any further with the chrome. I think that's enough and its to expensive nowadays. just have to keep it greased to stave of any rust this winter.

Really nice chrome. I like the Faco front fender instead of the Piaggio. A bit classier and more protection too. A nice SX or Prima bag would be great on the rear rack if your into that sort of thing.

I love the way you've concealed the L plate, bet plod would have something to say about it. Mine has been cut and stuffed behind the rack too, but stands out a little more as its against black.

I was never a fan of that color--but it matches the seaside so well! Looks very nice.

Good one Major, I have had a red, white and black scoot and a white and black scoot. The L plates didn't seem to stand out half as much. I will have to say to plod, well you seemed to have noticed it quite clearly plod....hahaa.....i should do my test really.....will have a go in the new year maybe. just to busy at the moment. I did try to conceal them in the photo a bit as well. they're nothing to be ashamed of though, are they? so whats your vespa then.....have you got a link to the photos?

thanks for that RaisinHell....where i live, i am never more than 6 miles from the sea......so i guess its a good color to blend in around here. on a nice day that is......the sea is steel grey today bit of a storm brewing....

nice pics of your scoots......some vintage quality eh....how is it for parts on the older vespas? Guess there are some you could find it hard to get parts for.....I always prefer the look of the older vespas.....proper head turners.......bet people hear them and smile as well.

Parts are very easy to come buy for most models (VBB, Sprint) from either ebay or SIP, but for others (GS, SS) can be tricky find and very pricey

wasn't going to jazz it up anymore...but...saw the flagpoles and pennant flags and just had to....
