I just ordered my new 300 some oil, oil filter wrench, rear end oil, crush washers so I can do first oil change. I recently added a Faco windshield an early Christmas present for her.

Mine has a new front rack on the way and she also just got this as a top case liner/carry-all bag. It fits the case pretty well and is about 1/3 the price of the Vespa top case bag:

I also have a nice Vespa windbreaker on the way for me!

I've heard a rumor that she may be getting Hippo Hands as a Christmas gift, too.

ETA: Can't get the pic to show for some reason, but it's an LL Bean canvas tote bag.

Both Vespa and Stella got some new decals, and their rider just ordered a new Nolan helmet.

I forgot to mention too: racing stripes on the sides and reflecting trim on the wheels (both white). The racing stripes are not reflective but the wheel trim glows orange at night even though it looks white at day light.

Merry dredge everyone.

I stumbled upon a lift for the old scoot. She deserves it.

What is yours getting?

All right, you have to update me/us on how well this works for you, 'kay?

Meanwhile, I'll likely be treating Melody to these, at least by New Year's:

Updated Registration so she's street legal again!

After that, we shall see. I need some gear and that takes precedent over the bike. But:
6000 mile service
a local rider has crash bars hes willing to sell me
Louder horn
Aftermarket muffler
Safety light kit for Top Box
*Been mulling this over but I'll add it to the wish list:
13 inch Rims & matching tires

Honestly I think I've about run out of things I want to do.

So far she has:

Remus Exhaust.
Sidestand.
Cuppini Windscreen
Termoscud Skirt.
Bitubo shocks front and rear.
Full Malossi kit including the Forcemaster 2
Black real leather seat and top case backrest
Black legshield trim
J. Costa Variator
Heidenau winter tyres

So she's a very spoilt little girl for sure. However.... those brake levers look cool I'm also open to suggestions if anyone can recommend something to further add to performance that will not have an effect on reliability. Apparently the Brembo brakes don't instal on the ABS Vespas without some serious finagling so they are out for now.

Finally installed the new halogen headlight on my ET4–wow!!! Seems like I was burning a couple candles with the old incandescent bulb in comparison.

Also ordered today:

the round 7” mirrors for a more classic look

Gear oil change kit and brake fluid—both could almost qualify for a drivers license here in the states.

And a vinyl seat cover because wet seats kinda suck.

Trying REALLY hard to steer clear of that 190 Malossi kit... Lord give me strength...

Good buy! I have the 5 up to the 20 and the 10 is a good unit. The sound and call quality is great. I've been on 45 minute calls and the person on the other end has had no idea I was on a bike. Podcasts have also been great company on some very long rides.

If you ever ride with a pillion or with others having 2 Senas is great for communicated. I get hit from behind a lot less often since I bought my wife one....

My brother-in-law gave me a couple of Battery Tender accessories. They plug into the permanent connector for the battery.

One is a USB connector for charging phone, GPS or 5V device. Great for an emergency charge.

The second accessory is a voltage indicator. Plugs in to the same Battery Tender cable on the scoot. Gives you a lighted LED for battery condition and digital readout for voltage.

Great for keeping in the glove box.

My PTW is just getting a tank of fuel. This is the liquid equivalent to a lump of coal. Both are hydrocarbons afterall.

An early Christmas for the scoot and me: a short outing. The gift? I had surgery for prostate cancer on Nov 30th... I was told to not even think about riding until mid-January at the earliest. I told my wife I was ready for a short ride, but I needed her help getting the scoot out. Fortunately for me, she understands me and knew this step would be good for my mental attitude and help the healing process. It wasn't far, it wasn't fast, but it was great. I was sore for a few days after (using core muscles that were poked, stabbed, and moved around during the surgery), but it was just what I needed.

Dec 22nd.
