I guess you're still thinking this one through then Charlie?
Recommended Exhaust for GTS 300 SUPER!! Better to bump up the old post really. Do a forum search on GTS300 exhaust and have a read through past posts with performance comparisons etc - more responses and info that way. You don't say what you're hoping to achieve by replacing the stock one - looks, off the line speed, performance/mpg etc? Vinces, Akra, PMs etc all get bought and stuck on. I'm not yet convinced that I'd get 'value' by replacing the stock one - as in, I've got an exhaust, now I'm £300 lighter and I've still got an exhaust. I think I'd prefer accessories or a damn good trip away on the GTS for that, but to each his own |

The Akrapovic looks perfect on a GTS, and the sound is brilliant. Cruise along at 80 kph just as silently as the standard exhaust, then a throaty growl when you open her up.
In 50 years of scooting, this is by far the best exhaust I have ever had. Mike |

The Akra does rock. Very high quality, and easy to remove come wheel removal time. Take off the db-killer and you'll feel the performance bump...or at least the growl will make you think you've got a performance bump.

I have just had the Remus put on and have to say it is very good indeed. It has a nice low tone, slight increase in torque top end is about the same. I think it looks good too. I don't think there is a lot between the Remus and Akra in that department. Build quality is top notch too.

I wanted to buy the PM80 Scomadi Replica,
But it was more expensive than the Leo Vince 4 Road. From what I've read the PM80 can be repacked, Whereas the Leo Vince 4 Road can't be repacked. |

I've just seen a video of the scomadi and I now recommend that. It looks gorgeous.
How loud is it with the baffle? |

I've had a Leo Vince on my GT200 since January. I love the growl it puts out under acceleration. Didn't have to upjet. Has helped the top end by maybe 5 mph. Thought gas mileage might have improved, but after many fill-ups, it seems to be unchanged,

I both rejetted and added a Sito+ pipe to my 2007 LX150. Really no performance gains to brag about. It did sound better.
Now I have a current year LX150 and it sounds better than the Sito+ and would spank the 2007 in all regards. FI really changed the engine Plan to stay stock on the pipe. |

I had a PM62 on my GT200, and it was too noisy and kept spitting out its waddng. I now have an Akra on my GTS.

After thinking about it quite a bit, I've decided to keep the stock exhaust on my GTS till it really needs to be replaced. I will then probably go with the Akrapovic. I rather like the sound, but I, personally, don't expect any performance/gas mileage improvement with the Akrapovic.

went to a Leo Vince 4Road on my GT200, then traded up to the PM Tuning. I'm now retrofitting the PM Tuning with an o2 sensor bung and installing it on the GTS300. Then the Leo Vince is going back on the GT.
I'd love to have PM Tunings on both but thats $1000 in pipes... no thank you. |

Think standard touring bike and your nearly there. |

I got the first Remus Vespa GTS exhaust in the USA. I had the mid-pipe of the scooter Hot coated black, it was shiny aluminum stock. Hot coated black mid-pipe.
The bracket that holds the exhaust on is fully adjustable for easy installation.
