I was recently reunited with an old friend from 20 odd years ago. Today I rode to his home to see his lovely Rally 200 project which is coming along very nicely (I know, useless without pictures etc..). I then took the long way home.

I will have a new riding partner next year, this makes me happy.

couple of skinheads in the car so maybe they were old school scooterists reliving the glory days. or they dont know the difference between a tuned scooter and a moped and were confused by the speed. ill have to look out for myself on youtube

painted zorst n refitted it ..... swaped flasher unit for the one off me bitza [sorry bitza] now the indicators work properly ... then went for a ride to show it off to father outlaw ... well he did lend me the money to buy it ........ he loves it ...
told me [again] about the tv175 n the panther scooters he once had ..... why the hell he sold them and kept a honda vision and a c90 cub ill never know

Started to ride to L.A. on the Street Glide and had Check Engine Light come on about 20 miles out. Turned around and called my friends saying I wouldnt be making the trip. Did some diags and got error codes.

Re-Waxed the restored P in preparation for its first long-ish ride tomorrow. Still starts a bit hard but its a fresh engine but now runs very strong.

Just for grins, I kicked over the Rally that has been sitting for months and believe it or dont, 1st kick.. Sure do wish the former owner had not butchered the body and cowls, otherwise I would completely trick that paint job back to orig looking style.

Got started on some cowl bodywork Ive been putting off for a long time.

stand spring fell off when i pulled it outta shed... managed to fish it out from between the zorst n frame and tied said stand up with a bungee .....
rehooked the spring back on at work

Today I rode to work. 32 degrees and bundled up like an Eskimo.

Today I worked on the engine side cowl for my slooooow Super and almost got it done.

I just posted a couple pics on the other thread.

Purched w/the help of Scooter Marc a partial Rally engine. I plan on getting my Rally back on the road with these cases and still have a plan to get another engine built out of the old (fingers crossed).

Now onto timing.

I participated in a massive toy run today. about 4500 motorcycles (4000 Harleys atleast, 499 various others and one P200e. It was a tight ride, speeds from 1mph to 50mph. For some reason, the nearest riders behind me stayed about an 1/8 mile back

went home in the morning after spending weekend in mountain side with a friend in attempt to test ride the not so normal smallie and my new super and the result both of them were bulletproof for ride







after that i went to office passing flooding road



and in office i check my plug and clean my carb



one thing to add, after all i did in weekend i am still dead bored

rode to work on the 'new un' and the bloody thing stalled at the lights ..... had to push it onto the path to kick it .... luckily it started .....
then on the way home it stalled again .. at the lights ... wouldnt start pulled plug .. looked good so bumped it down the hill .. nowt waited a little kicked it n it fired up like nowt wa wrong
bloody vespas dont ya hate em ..... gonna buy a new hotter plug tomorrow n see how it likes that

Cleaned and torn into this down to the cases. Not bad shape so far.

Fought with a weezy smallframe. Fuck, smallies are a PIA sometimes.

went to psn for a kickstart rubber n to run it about a little after it cut out on the way to work [n had to greenflag recover it home] .... FUCKING tickover screw came out n BASTARD spring went ... well you guess ....... busing to work now while it gets sorted ....... fucking wankity wank ............. not even paid the outlaws for it yet

got a phone call today telling me the clutch housing was cracked and had been sealed with silicone .... gonna drop off the one from me ever decresing shed engine.....

naa the bitza engine is staying on the 89 G plate ....... its getting rebuilt as the bull ...... i have a 'spare' lump in the shed that im ransackin ....... would like one anal matching number scoot

Sure mate.

Here are a few with the high beam on.

The spot light on the fork is low beam. I got sick of being cut off, i don't have that problem now
