I changed front fork oil on other scooters no problem but this fly's fork design is different and the manual didn't show very well on how to change the oil... wondering if y'all have something to show me?
This fork is driving me crazy

Mic - I don't have an answer for you, but will be watching this thread closely.
Still looking for a new rear shock that might be better then OEM that'll work. |

Many forks today have to be removed opened up and turned upside down to remove the oil. Service needed is so infrequent but a complete PITA when it has to be done

What inspired you to change the oil? I've only ever done that when the fork seals needed replacing - which in a used-all-year-round and winter salted roads environment is every two years or so.
Normally fork oil isn't under any mechanical stress - so do you ask for your car shocks to have oil replaced? I can't think of any reason to change fork oil on a PTW unless there's some other problem. |

Someone said they needed to put thicker oil in their Fly's forks, so it would seem possible.

There's a diagram on page 223, which is the very last page. It would seem that you can take it apart. It has the bolt on the bottom that keeps it all together, so there must be a way to put oil in. |

And by the way, is that a C-clip I see on the top of the front tube?
Found this, but I am not sure it's the same. http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://s02.epstatic.nl/drawings/FLY_125_4T_EURO_3_2008_86537.png&imgrefurl=http://www.easyparts.nl/showdrawing/3440/86537/-/0-968-1-m420-m875-m2325-s3440-d86537/Fork-steering-tube---Steering-bearing-unit.html&h=768&w=1124&tbnid=BCFeRUU-aEF2GM:&zoom=1&docid=aRT7rvzFDtthpM&ei=fV5yVYiaD8a1ogSwm4PQDA&tbm=isch&ved=0CBwQMygBMAE |
