I've looked into this, and it's... challenging. Merging gallery software with the forum software in such a way that we don't have two completely separate systems (with separate logins) is the hardest part. It can be done, but it'll take some work, so I'm hunting around for details.

I also have some concern about storage space and bandwidth, and whether we have enough. The cost of the forum has been very low so far, but primarily because we don't use a lot of space or bandwidth. Yet.

I think once we start selling patches, we can think about bumping up our hosting plan and so not have to worry about this as much. So the bottom line, I guess, is sit tight, we'll start making some improvements around here soon enough.

Those that host our own photos can simply IMG tag them to display here, so no extra bandwidth is used by the forum.
