...pictures when the sun shines again

Scooter history:
Honda 80 way back in college (lasted less than one year before stolen and trashed)
Honda Elite about 13 years ago (brought the fun back)
Piaggio BV350 silver (traded previous one for this-lots of commuting on this one)
Vespa GTS 300 blue (traded previous one for this, loved the color and liked the ride)
Vespa 150 black (bought thinking my wife actually wanted to ride her own vespa)
2015 Piaggio MP3 500 black (traded previous two for this in attempt to placate wife's desire for tandem riding. Never really felt comfortable on this one)
2016 Piaggio Liberty 150s red (bought because of desire inspired by O.S. pictures, very comfortable city commuter)

NOW 2020 Vespa GTS 300 Touring VERDE BOSCO (color so beautiful that I had to buy it. With limited garage space, I had to sell the previous two)

Riding all three for >10 miles each, over the course of two day. I'm loving the feel of the newest scooter!

I THINK I AM DONE BUYING SCOOTERS FOR A WHILE

You should post this over in the general forum as way more of us will see it. It's a great story and this side of the board isn't looked at as often. Glad you love the new scoot and it's a great choice!

As promised, some daylight pictures! (which still don't do the Verde Bosco justice)

Beautiful. It's a classic colour and it can look different under different lighting conditions. I hope you get lots of happy miles riding it.

Nice looking Vespa
The green is fantastic, the seat matches just right.

To pretty to resist
I am your story backwards. I traded in my 2016 Honda 700CTX for he Green Vespa Touring. Enjoyed it for about 500 miles, hen traded it in for a 2021 BV350. Te Vespa was a nice ride, but not user friendly for interstate riding. The BV with the larger wheels, & larger engine worked out perfect.

BV350 Larger Wheels
Meatman,

You are right on. I love my Vespa GTS 300 Super, but, the larger wheels
on the BV350 really allow you to get up and go. A member of my scooter
riding group has the new Yamaha TMAX - great with larger wheels.

I love my Classic Vespa and will keep it forever. For long extended rides I
take my Suzuki Burgman 400.

My commute hasn't really changed in the last 20 years. I may have added 5 miles here and there, but it's usually city traffic or small bits of country highway.

What has changed and changed again in the 20 years is what I wanted out of my ride. The scooter I got the most miles out of was my BV350. It went everywhere, but when I was looking to replace it with something new, I realized I was not riding as much highway based distances. And give or take a few hiccups, it's been that way for the last ten. My commute and my recreation riding is city and country roads. The new GTS will serve me well and look sharp doing it.

(I admit I ALMOST bought another BV350 last spring but resisted. Then they were sold out. Then THE GREEN BEAUTY showed up...)

My story is similar to yours. I first bought the 2020 Touring after about 500 miles I jumped ship to the 2021 BV Tourer. Both great scooters, but in the end the larger wheels, more power, low exterior maintenance won out.
