They've really gone black-out - but have kept the color in gloss.
Took the spun-silver off of the "S" rim edges.
All chrome is gone....and the shock is red now.
And, yes it's a great scooter. Been riding mine year around since summer of 2017.

(I decided I preferred the chrome mirrors, and bought a set when they were still $20; and repainted the exhaust shield gun-metal to lessen the dark "shadowy" rear side back there. Scooterwest supplied me with a custom color-matched OEM top case. Piaggio never made a red one - my red "S" model is supposed to run with an all black case.)
