You have no idea how crazy the citizens of Latina are considered, they do a lot of weird things and reading the local newspaper every day is not something that makes you bored.

Something odd about "Children Fishing Pond." At least the kiddos get released after they are caught! What a difference the letter "s" can make. Wonder if it was done on purpose?

I love hilarious signs like that. My favorite were signs they used to have (maybe still do somewhere...?) here in NYC parks listing prohibited items and activities. One of the things listed was "No bitches in heat". LOL. As we entered the park, I would invariably turn to whoever I was with and tell them they couldn't go in. The joke never got old.

An S would be grammatically incorrect. This is a prime example of the possessive case. Apostrophe S or an S and apostrophe.

Only the apostrophe S would be correct - 'children' is already plural.

Both are incorrect, I believe, as the pond does not belong to the children. So it cannot be possesive?

In South Africa, "biltong" is a favourite delicacy.
Air-dried shnitzels of beef or game meat with ground pepper and coriander seed are like gold.
I have a photo of a sign on a shop that sold biltong which belonged to a certain Mr Human.
The sign says:

HUMAN BILTONG

So my BV was outside, topcase closed. Put my work stuff on the ground, packed up and left. Get to work, unpacking the topcase, and there's a good-sized tree frog hunkered down in there.

He's getting a ride back to his hood later today as long as it's not too hot out....
