Hi all going to use this as my diary for the changes minor and otherwise I do to my GTS Tianium 2016 ABS supersport.
I will try and update when I can with some details.
The previous owner did not treat it terribly, but didn't take great care of the bike. So not abused but not pristine. Had only 8,000 km and the service was done. However the bike had been parked outside and left out in the weather a bit and probably stored in an unheated shed in the winter. Still was in pretty good condition no accidents or road rash. However a bit of scuffing from parking and saddlebags plus shiny spots from the front rack. Handlebar mirrors and no original mirrors, no battery strap, original crest covered with a sticker as he scraped it with a screwdriver, and a few other things ,later. Then again I got an ok price as I really wanted an ABS model. Here are some photos of the bike when I got it.
The racing stripes were pink from sun-fade and the 303 is in reference to a Roland old school vintage synthesizer that he plays .

Initial upgrades including for 2 up.
My girlfriend tried some scooters with me at the dealer before the purchase.
She enjoyed it and since we have done some 4-500 km rides for the day.
So.
passenger foot peg extenders from Ali Express 27.50 cdn
Rear rack piaggio chrome purchased on kijiji 150
top case with back rest in matching color , I paid too much but it was mint, and about half the price that I would have paid at the dealer (900) 420.

In retrospect A givi topcase with backrest would have been cheaper and more practical (you can take it off the bike easily and they feel sturdier) I have had them before. However this back rest seems to be more comfortable than the Givi.
also pair of sport mirrors 25 amazon.

Picked up an orignal Piaggio set of crash bars from one of the local forums. I had researched which were the best here and elsewhere and consensus was that the originals were probably the best protection wise. I may drill through one of the bottom bolts in the fall if I am happy with the bars. Not so crazy about the mix of black and chrome but... this is what I have. 150

I also decided to get a garmin gps. I had tried to use my phone instead, I have the garmin phone mount. I love waze and google maps. But, it started to pour and I did not really feel comfortable with the phone out in the elements. Plus had some friends fry tehir cameras on the mount with no shock. Plus I don't have the right gloves so was not able to use the phone properly without taking off my gloves.
I wired it to the plug behind the glove box and up through the mirror mount. Install came out nice.
I guess over the winter I will work on the base-camp tutorial. I like to plan my routes in advance on the computer and then transfer them to the chip.
I took off the racing stripes and 303 badge without too much swearing. came off pretty easily and cleaned up the leftover glue with kerosene.
gts crash bars
mirror mount install
racing stripe removed
