While, I like the vintage feel of the pleating on the seat cover, I also had visions of going back to the original style lines of the GTS seat, where the piping line hugs the seat lines and divides the rider/ pillion sections of the seat. I know it's not a massive difference in the overall look, but for me, it's a significant improvement. I love the new lines of the seat and the gray piping is a very close match to the paint color. And I much prefer the color/ texture of the new white color. Plus this whole exercise gave me an excuse to buy a new-to-me industrial sewing machine. New toys are always good!
