I don't know if it merits a separate thread, but thanks for posting! There are a few parts in there that I need for my VBB (legshield badge & tail lights, to name two).

Yeah, if I wasn't already committed to picking up a Smallie & Stella, I'd probably make a run at it. And if I had the cash to do both, it's right on my way to pick up the first two scooters.

Its funny, timing is always funny. I've been talking with the seller for a few weeks trying to make arrangements to meetup, since before they posted on CL. It finally worked out yesterday, so I drove down to pick it up. Then this morning here it is on the Parts Deal o Day. I'm glad I swooped in before the crowds
It's rough, but totally saveable. The patina looks better in person-reminds me of FridayMattinee's build. The motor is 100% locked up-every nut and bolt rusted solid...but no worries, as I have other plans My stable keeps growing, even when I tell myself-no more

It almost looks like a real actual scooter. I smashed together this VBA real quick, and pulled a few things from my hoarding stash. Being a scooter addicted hoarding hoarder does have its benefits from time to time. I scoured together a saddle seat, luggage rack, buddy seat, original paint matching wheel & tire, fork bearing hardware, headset bolt; and I borrowed this green cowl from another Allstate project. I'm sure I have more when it actually comes time to do a real build. Roughly slammed out the legshield dents with a deadblow. I'll probably start a real thread, but for now; thats the update. Happy Friday -carry on

The VBA's and the first year(?) VBB's maintained the round tail instead of the license plate flat. It makes such a difference to the sexy value in my opinion. Think these are some of the best looking scoots that Piagio built - second only to the various wide body's that had a bit of curve to the leg shield.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder of course... Great find tho! |

This is pretty interesting. It's mostly modern era parts and accessories, but still potentially some pretty cool stuff in there.

^^ that's 2K easy money.
shipping kills it for me, but if I was in a day or so drive striking distance I'd be on this like a bird on a June bug. the resell would be tedious but ROI wise, you'd be looking at a tidy profit to put into the "vintage scooter slush fund" and probably a steak dinner for two. the bonus is that you get to keep anything vintage and/or cool. |

Yeah, I'm looking at the topcases, new-with-tags gloves, seats, wheels, tires, windscreens, etc. and seeing money. That frame is pretty much the only part I don't know wtf I'd do with.

I could use the ET frame, for the right price. It would save me a lot of body work on a project I picked up. Keep me in mind for the frame, if anyone on here buys the parts lot.
