My 08 MP3 250, will it run without the seat on? Did I read on here somewhere that the scoot won't rev over 1600 rpm without the seat on or at least closed. I've gotten somewhere in the past 4 months. Replaced fuel pump and injector and cleaned the throttle body best I could and she at least will start and run for 10 to 15 seconds without starting fluid but won't rev.. Most of the body work is still off along with the taillights. Anything there that would keep it from revving?
Yeah either put the seat on and connect the sensor then sit on it (safest method) or put a jumper across the seat sensor clip and put it on the center stand.
Can only a vespa dealer do the flash of the ECU? After reading about other peoples experience with that being done sounds like it couldn't hurt mine. Not sure I can really trust my local Vespa dealer. It's a Honda shop here in Jacksonville Fla. I've read that it's expensive, not sure what that means but I know this shop charges $90.00 per half hour. I would think it would take less than a half hour but who knows. I'm just like everyone else, I don't want to get screwed. Thanks. Tom
