Hi all. I have a 150 sprint veloce. Im putting a pinasco 177cc kit on it. A pinasco race crank and flytech flywheel. What's people's recommendations on a decent exhaust to use? stainless steel if possible. Thanks in advance.

I have a 71 sprint Veloce. I tried the following on my Sprint Veloce:

1) Stock (Also the smallest in size along the Malossi)
2) Sito plus (very large and bulky with poor clearance but decent performance. Noisy)
3) Polini box (10-15% larger in size than the Malossi or stock).
4) Malossi box (the smallest in size, very compact). Noisy deep
5) SR3(SIP road 3), same size as the Polini. Not too well design because the elbow hits the ground
6) Lefty Boomstick. it clears very well under the left cowl

For power the absolute best was the SR3. I tested it over and over and over with two GPS, a tachometer and a acceleration instrument device(Dragy).

The SR3 is just well above the rest in power/torque. The second best was the Polini closely followed by the Malossi. Although the top speed did not change much the acceleration improvement was significant.

I'm happy to see your in use exhaust comparison, and it also makes me sad to see the Vespas tipped over on the ground.

Which pinasco kit? What crank stroke? What carb/inlet type? What type of riding you want to do?

How did the jetting differ between these exhausts? An exhaust with more pull will require an up jet. That exhaust with no upjet will be under its best.
