Hi everyone, brand new to the forum and here are a few pics of my 2021 Vespa GTS Super 300. I just purchased this in April and I've been spending the past few weeks adding accessories to it. I'm working on engine break in and have just over 300 miles so far. My goal is to get to that first service appointment! I just added the OEM topcase which seems to be difficult to find these days due to supply issues. I'm thinking about adding a rear light bar but not sure if I will go that route yet. Sure is a lot of fun looking at everyone else's scoots!

That's a great looking scooter, I wish you many happy and safe miles together.

Now if you'd remove the don't-get-sued stickers from the glovebox and the footrest, I bet she would look even better

That "don't drink battery acid" sticker by the floorboards sure is a pain to remove. Mine came off in tiny little pieces and left plenty of glue to fight through.

That said, you've got a lovely new scoot OP! Love the black and chrome combo. Wishing you plenty of fun-filled miles!

Often times heating it up with a hairdryer does wonders. You can then remove the final glue from the bodywork using the sticker itself, by putting it on the glue and 'unsticking' it again rapidly and often.

PS Does it really warn you against drinking battery acid?

Yeah, that's my go-to method but the glue on that particular sticker is much stronger than what's on the others so it kept shredding the sticker to pieces. Ended up dragging the sticker across the glue repeatedly which eventually got it all off.

Haha more or less — it talks about the dangers of battery acid and what to do if you get it on or in your body.

Sounds like I should start with the hair dryer method to remove those stickers and plan for removal to take some effort. I'm determined though. I'll show those stickers who is in charge!
