This matter has cropped up on the forum in the past, but my personsonal reason for need of a Side stand was never really , being failure of the Tiltlock control! I am now in my 90's and have owned two MP3's In both I have had a failure of the Tiltlock, leaving me wondering if I could possibly get off and use the centre stand without dropping the Vehicle. Due to age and health my strength is not what it once was, and I bought an MP3 to save the need to balance the weight. I have another scooter that has both side and centre stands, making things much easier.
Yes, I know the tiltlock is usually reliable, but for my peace of mind..........
If anyone knows of an aftermarket sidestand that would do the trick, I would appreciate hearing form them.

it was not mounted using centerstand mount. it was welded to side frame rail. I dont have the lower side fairings. that would likely need trimmed to fit. it was 100% custom. but not that hard as far as custom goes. It was really worth the effort. bike was cumbersome using the center stand.
